I posted the houses yesterday and already the little Musical house is sold. So fast! I'm going to miss it on my desk, but I know it's going to a good home.
Thank you! I can only hope my good fortune continues. Etsy has been a great discovery - so much better than Ebay!
And having a blog and crafting community has really changed things. I felt so alone before and now I've found so many new friends and lots of inspiration.
Thank you for your comments on my blog - it really keeps me going!
eBay, BLECH! I have been selling a few things on there lately trying to make some Christmas $, but nothing handmade. With them taking almost 9% commission, plus listing fees (and PayPal fees), it wouldn't be worth it to sell handmade on eBay! Etsy has the market on that :-)
I enjoy reading your blog and seeing what you are doing... and I enjoy you visiting my blog as well :-) It is nice to have friends who share interests, even if only in cyber-land :-)
I just stopped by for the first time...the cherries in your title..caught my fancy. My name is cherry and it is part of my blog title as well. I too do a lot of crafts and hope to start my etsy soon. Good luck with your endeavor! Your blog is lovely and your kitties are adorable. cherry
Hi, Cherry! The name came from my mom's love of cherries (I love them, too) - not only the fruit, but also collecting fabrics and kitchen towels, etc. with cherries on them. We planted a cherry tree in our backyard a few years ago, but no cherries to eat yet, sadly. Hopefully next year we'll have some.
And welcome to Etsy - it's a great place to set up your store. Drop a comment when you've opened as I'd love to take a peek. ;)
Be sure to swing by my place for I have some brain tonic and three witches brew for you! Vincent Price is waiting patiently for you to arrive to begin his story. I do hope to see you soon!
